Lyndale Ave Walking Tour

Hennepin County, along with the City of Minneapolis, Metro Transit, and other partners, are continuing work to improve safety for all users on Lyndale Avenue South (County Road 22) between Franklin Avenue (County Road 5) and 31st Street.

They want to hear about your experiences on the corridor, as well as how you think it should look in the future. They are early in the design process and this is the ideal time to voice your thoughts.  Learn more about the project

Walking Tour
Wednesday, September 27
6:00 - 8:00 pm, meet outside Wrecktangle Pizza, 703 West Lake Street, at 6 pm

As part of the engagement efforts, project staff are hosting a walking tour along a portion of the project area. This is an opportunity to get an up close, active look at the corridor with insight from the project team about what’s possible through the project. Bring your bike, a stroller, or just a good pair of shoes, but be sure to bring an open mind and a willingness to share your thoughts.

The total distance of the walk will be less than one mile, with frequent stops along the way. Water and pizza will be provided after the tour.

Registration is required and limited, click here to register.

Questions about the walking tour can be directed to josh.potter@hennepin.us

Take the Survey Before it Closes

The ten-question survey helps you tell Hennepin County how you use the corridor and how changes would impact your experience. They have already received almost 800 responses on the survey; don’t miss your chance to weigh in on the future of Lyndale Avenue. The survey will be available until Monday, October 9.
