Earlier this month, Longfellow Community Council hosted two community meetings around the future of 3000 Minnehaha Avenue, the site of the former 3rd Precinct.
Longfellow Community Council compiled the feedback provided into a report that has been sent to City officials, City Council Members, and City staff.

10th Ave S Bridge Over Midtown Greenway
The 10th Ave S bridge was closed to motor vehicles in December 2021, due to structural concerns.
Hennepin Ave (Lake St W to Douglas Ave) Monthly Construction Stakeholder Meetings
The City of Minneapolis will be reconstructing Hennepin Ave S from Lake Street W to Douglas Ave. The street reconstruction project will begin in 2024. In advance of the street reconstruction project, utility work has begun along the corridor.
