Upcoming Construction Traffic Changes

The B Line & Lake Street Improvements construction project is progressing along Lake Street. Many impacted areas are reaching a transition point this month as work is completed on the south side of Lake Street and switches to the north side. These transitions will generally occur section by section on overnight shifts over the next few weekends (weather dependent). New temporary striping will be installed, and parking closures will move from the south side to the north side. Businesses should expect additional noise from concrete removals during and soon after these transition points.

• Portland to 21st Ave (Midtown): Friday 7/19 - Saturday 7/20

• Hennepin to Dupont: Late July or early August (exact date TBD)

The Hiawatha-Lake intersection improvement project is also progressing. The project will transition from the north side of Lake Street to the south side of Lake Street next week. Similar to the B Line & Lake Street Improvement project, the transition will occur overnight and depend on the weather.
