Community Safety Center Update
Office of Community Safety Commissioner Toddrick Barnette has presented an update on the South Minneapolis Community Safety Center. The goal is to open the new Community Safety Center in early 2025.
MPD Community Engagement Session
The Minneapolis Police Department is hosting a community engagement session to get feedback on the future of the department. The session will be held on Saturday, August 19th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Urban Ventures (2924 4th Ave S), 3rd floor Multipurpose Room.

The City’s Office of Performance & Innovation teamed up with the Behavioral Crisis Response team, 311, 911, Traffic Control, Office of Violence Prevention, and Neighborhood & Community Relations for an awareness campaign called Reimagining Public Safety.
