Support the Small Business Assistance Partnership Program

As an organization that assists hundreds of BIPOC & immigrant-owned businesses along the Lake Street commercial corridor, we appreciate how state funding can leverage local resources to support individual entrepreneurs and small businesses. Proven programs like the Small Business Assistance Partnerships provide strong and sustained returns on investment and create jobs.

It's one of the most critical tools that the Lake Street Council has used to help our corridor recover and thrive over the last few years. We can not afford to see funding reductions to this crucial program.

Please advocate to fully fund, at a minimum, the base of $5.45 million for this program in the negotiations between the House and Senate.
