Hennepin County Community Investment Initiative

The Community Investment Initiative (CII) is a place-based approach to accelerate economic recovery and address disparities exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CII provides funding toward capital costs for development, redevelopment, and expansion projects that provide business incubators, long-term affordable commercial space for a minimum of 3 businesses, or to organizations providing economic recovery services to communities disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The deadline to submit general application questions is Friday, May 6, 2022 by 3:00 pm. Applications are due by May, 26, 2022 at 3:00 pm.
