ASI’s popular, annual Kräftskiva, or Crayfish Party, serves crayfish family style. Tradition has it that crayfish are to be eaten outdoors under gaily colored paper lanterns, with bibs and comic paper hats. The little creatures are served with good bread, strong cheese, salads, Swedish paj (similar to quiche) and, of course, aquavit, beer, live music and drinking songs.
You are invited to celebrate Mexican Independence Day on Lake Street between 2nd Ave and Portland Ave. This yearly event features the best Latino entertainment groups in Minnesota, food and merchandise vendors, plus activities for the whole family.

The Somali Museum's Anniversary is an annual event bringing together the Twin Cities' vibrant Somali-American community for a massive culture-focused celebration. The Event commemorates the 2013 opening of the Somali Museum's public gallery, with performances by international and local Somali stars in music, theater and comedy. This year's Anniversary will for the third time take place inside Benson Great Hall of Bethel University.
