Construction has recently begun on a new Bde Maka Ska Pavilion - the original, which was built in 1930, burned down in 2019. The project will include two new pavilion buildings that will have space for a seasonal food service vendor along with a year-round secondary food service vendor with an indoor dining space. The new buildings are expected to open in the summer of 2023.
